Our Story

Azalea City Bakery’s first began in the home kitchen of our founder, Sebastian Barnes, during the COVID lockdown of 2020. In 2021 he decided to move into baking full time and opened Azalea City Bakery - named after his hometown of Takoma Park, Maryland. Since then we have been providing delicious, decadent, and beautiful food for businesses and individuals alike.

His aim was to combine some of the food typically found in his ancestral Argentina with the flavors and tastes of the US. While some food is made with the intention of being healthy for your body, our philosophy is that our food will focus on food that’s healthy for your soul.
